5 Things to Know About Gild & Co.

1) All furniture is chosen with the upmost attention to quality and detail. With this level of quality comes options. Almost all of our furniture is either customizable in some way and or available in other fabrics/fnishes. If you see something you love, but need it slightly different, please do not hesitate to ask for further information.

2) All our items are made for living and generally handmade from natural fibres. We believe this is better for the environment and better for living with. Natural fibres and handmade items usually have subtle variances in texture or imperfections. When dealing with quality furniture, these imperfections are often expected and embraced as part of the item's inherent beauty. This is one reason we love natural fibres. Note: If we believe an items has a true imperfection, we would notify our customers accordingly, and of course if any questions, please let us know!

3) Most items on the showroom floor are for sale. This includes all furniture and lighting - they are not shop fixtures. They are why we are here. All of the beautiful and often unique items at the store are looking for new homes. With the exception of hanging light fixtures, which are ordered new for you, and the odd showroom sample.

4) All new rugs are available in other standard sizes and some custom sizing. Swatches are available to see the colour/texture in your space. Vintage and one-of-a-kind rugs are sold as available and as mentioned are the only ones available.

5) We sell a mix of original and print artwork. We are proud to support several excellent local artists. Their collections available at Gild & Co. are forever evolving and changing. Exciting to watch and collect!
